On May 13, 2012 the Indian Parliament completed 60 years of existence, showcasing its dynamic growth and shift from an over regulated economy in the initial years, to a liberalised setup, projecting India as a power house of economic progress. The legislative and regulatory changes brought about in 2011 to 2012 have been aimed at providing impetus to growth and consolidating the gains achieved so far.
